NYC Hotel Review: Hilton Garden Inn 8th/W36

As you can guess, a room in NYC is quite small. Honestly, I did not have high expectations as this is a Hilton Garden Inn property. I booked this room last minute and it was better than I expected (We will get into those details later)!

Check in:

Begins at 4:00 pm. I checked in around 6:00 pm with no issues. The staff was pleasant.

Room Type:

One Queen Bed. The room was clean. I did not have a view nor did I expect one. The A/C worked great with water pressure in the shower as well. No complaints.

This room was small but was really efficient! It has a fridge (which is not too common in NYC hotels).

Area:

The area is a bit seedy. In front of the hotel, a public seating area is open to the general public 24/7. No one disturbed me. For the location and price, you cannot beat it. You are a few blocks away from Times Square and other main tourists attractions.

Cake from Carlos. I highly suggest visiting Carlos Bakery! The line is typically long but does move fast.

I would suggest no more than two people occupy this room style. Check-out is noon and they do hold your luggage as well.
